Hanoi, March 11 -- The 14th Liaison Officials' Meeting of the China (Guangxi) - ASEAN Mining Cooperation Conference was held in Hanoi on March 11, bringing together officials from ASEAN member states and China to review past collaboration and set future priorities.

Speaking at the event, deputy director of the department of natural resources of China's Guangxi province Li Xiudan emphasised the importance of aligning mining activities with environmental protection and climate action, contributing to the broader 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Vietnam highlighted the successful implementation of the ASEAN Minerals Cooperation Action Plan (AMCAP) 2020-2025 and reaffirmed its commitment to responsible mining practices.
