Hanoi, Nov. 1 -- A model of the Vietnam Exposition Centre made from 410 kg of sticky rice and 100 kg of beans set a new Vietnamese record on October 31, within the framework of the Autumn Fair 2025.
The record-setting model recreates the largest exhibition complex in Southeast Asia and one of the world's top 10. It was guided by folk pastry artisan Tran Thi Hien Minh and the Saigon Professional Chefs Association, and crafted by the professional chefs of Lac Hong Palace in Hai Phong city.
At a 1:10 scale, the model measures nearly 1.8m long, 2m wide, and 80cm high. It was made over three consecutive days, from cooking, colouring, molding, assembly, and detailed decoration.
