Hanoi, Jan. 7 -- The Office of the State President held a press conference on January 7 to announce the State President's Orders promulgating 12 laws adopted at the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly. The laws cover a wide range of fields, including journalism, education, anti-corruption, judicial reform, agriculture, environment, international treaties and deposit insurance. A key highlight is the Press Law, which comprises four chapters and 51 articles and will take effect from July 1, 2026. The law reaffirms the revolutionary nature and historical role of Vietnam's press, promoting the development of professional, humane and modern journalism.
