Hanoi, Oct. 23 -- South African President Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa arrived in Hanoi on the afternoon of October 23, beginning a two-day state visit to Vietnam at the invitation of President Luong Cuong.

The South African delegation was welcomed at Noi Bai International Airport by Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh, Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh; Vice Chairman of the Presidential Office Nguyen Hoang Anh, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Anh Tuan, and Vietnamese Ambassador to South Africa Hoang Sy Cuong.
