Seoul, Nov. 3 -- Singapore's Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and the Republic of Korea (RoK)'s President Lee Jae Myung agreed on November 2 to establish a strategic partnership between their countries and expand cooperation across various sectors, including defence and trade.

The leaders announced the launch of the strategic partnership during a joint press conference at the Office of the RoK President following their talks, which took place during Wong's official visit to the RoK, Yonhap News Agency reported.

Under the strategic partnership, the two countries will step up cooperation to better tackle global challenges such as climate change and transnational crimes while deepening ties in the areas of security, defence, artificial intelli...
