Hanoi, Dec. 19 -- Vietnam's sports delegation continued to receive good news on the morning of December 19 as strong disciplines such as shooting and traditional boat racing secured a series of important gold medals, further improving the country's position on the 33rd SEA Games medal table.

In shooting, Vietnamese marksmen put in an impressive performance, sweeping two men's team gold medals. In the 25m rapid-fire pistol event, the trio of Ha Minh Thanh, Tran Cong Hieu and Pham Quang Huy topped the standings with a total score of 1,700 to claim the gold.
