HCM City, Nov. 21 -- A ceremony to see off the Vietnamese sporting delegation to the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games took place in Ho Chi Minh City on November 21.
Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Hong Minh, Deputy Director of the Sports Authority of Vietnam, praised the proactive and professional preparations made by training units in HCM City. He affirmed that the city continues to be a major contributor of core athletes in key disciplines, particularly Olympic sports. He expressed confidence that the southern region will maintain its role as a reliable source of achivements, making an important contribution to Vietnam's goal of remaining among the top nations at SEA Games 33.
