Bangkok, Dec. 17 -- Vietnamese rowers and shooters added three more golds to Vietnam's medal tally at the ongoing 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Thailand on December 17 morning, bringing the total number of gold medals to 51. Rowers brought home the first gold of the day for Vietnam, as Ho Thi Duy had an outstanding performance in the women's lightweight single sculls, finishing first with a time of 9 minutes 08.053 seconds, a full six seconds ahead of her Philippine rival. Another gold medal in rowing was bagged by Hoang Van Dat and Nguyen Phu who claimed victory in the men's lightweight double sculls final, marking Vietnam rowing's third gold at the Games.
