Da Nang, May 5 -- The Republic of Korea Navy destroyer Kang Gam Chan, carrying 296 officers and sailors, docked at Tien Sa Port on May 4, commencing a three-day courtesy visit to the central coastal city of Da Nang. A welcoming ceremony was held at the port, attended by representatives from the Naval Region 3 Command, Da Nang People's Committee, Military Region 5, the municipal military and border guard commands, and the Ministry of National Defence's foreign relations department, among others. On the Korean side, attendees included the RoK defence attache to Vietnam and staff from the country's Consulate General in Da Nang.
