Seoul, Dec. 19 -- The Republic of Korea (RoK)'s media outlets have praised Vietnam's U22 men's football team after their thrilling 3-2 comeback victory over Thailand in the final of the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Bangkok on December 18, calling the triumph a powerful statement of the team's resilience and the tactical acumen of Korean head coach Kim Sang-sik. The gold medal is Vietnam's first SEA Games football title since 2021, when the team was led by fellow Korean coach Park Hang-seo.
