Hanoi, March 26 -- The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,851 VND/USD on March 26, up 4 VND from the previous day. With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,094 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,608 VND/USD. At major commercial banks, the opening-hour rates saw decreases. At 8:20 am, Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 25,440 VND/USD and the selling rate 25,800 VND/USD, both down 20 VND from the March 25 morning session./.
