Hanoi, Dec. 4 -- The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,152 VND/USD on December 4, down 1 VND from the previous day. With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,410 VND/USD, and the floor rate 23,894 VND/USD. At 8:20am, the buying and selling rates at major commercial banks during the opening hours also declined. Both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 26,169 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,409 VND/USD. While the rates at Vietcombank dropped 1 VND, the respective ones at BIDV fell 6 VND and 1 VND from the December 3 session./.
