Quang Ninh, Jan. 3 -- Tourist arrivals, both domestic and international, to the northeastern province of Quang Ninh rose sharply during the first three days of the New Year 2026 holiday, according to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

During the period, major tourist sites and entertainment areas across the province attracted large numbers of visitors for sightseeing and leisure activities. Overall visitor numbers increased by 20-30% compared to normal days, with particularly positive signals seen in the rise of international arrivals.
