Hanoi, Aug. 13 -- Boosting socio-economic development in mountainous and ethnic minority areas represents both a political duty and a humanitarian commitment to the communities still facing numerous difficulties in transport, education, health care, and sanitation, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has stated. He made the statement while chairing a national conference on August 13 to review the national target programme on socio-economic development in mountainous and ethnic minority areas, PM Chinh for the 2021-2025 period and set directions for the next five years.
