Hanoi, Dec. 3 -- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh returned to Hanoi on the evening of December 3, concluding a two-day trip to Laos at the invitation of his Lao counterpart Sonexay Siphandone. During the visit, the PM attended a high-level meeting between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party; co-chaired the 48th session of the Vietnam-Laos Intergovernmental Committee on Bilateral Cooperation with PM Sonexay Siphandone; joined celebrations marking the 50th National Day of Laos and the 105th birthday of President Kaysone Phomvihane; met with Lao Party General Secretary and President Thonglun Sisoulith; and participated in the Vietnam-Lao investment promotion conference.
