Hanoi, Nov. 12 -- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has issued Official Dispatch No. 214/CD-TTg, urging localities in the central region to assess storm and flood damage and expedite recovery efforts.

The PM instructed Secretaries of Party Committees and Chairpersons of the People's Committees of Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, and Dak Lak to review and accurately assess the need for food, shelter, and essential goods, and to provide timely assistance to affected households, particularly those whose homes were destroyed or severely damaged, policy-beneficiary families, and those facing hunger or hardship.
