Hanoi, Aug. 12 -- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has issued a decision implementing disciplinary measures against Le Thanh Hai, former Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. According to Decisions No. 1720/QD-TTg, Hai was removed from the title of the Chairman of the city People's Committee and other positions he once held for violations and wrongdoings while performing his duties, for which he had also received disciplinary measures from the Party Central Committee. The disciplinary period is counted from the date of the issuance of the Party Central Committee's Decision No. 1261-QDNS/TW on May 21, 2024.
