Hanoi, Aug. 30 -- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has urged central coastal provinces and cities to closely track Typhoon Nongfa, forecast to make landfall on August 30 evening, in order to proactively carry out response measures. In a dispatch to authorities in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Quang Tri province, and Hue city, and heads of relevant ministries and agencies, the PM noted that the storm, the sixth to hit Vietnam so far this year, is moving rapidly at a speed of around 20-25 km per hour toward the waters and mainland of central Vietnam.
