HCM City, Feb. 26 -- A pilot project for the promotion of the rights of disabled children in Ho Chi Minh City was launched on February 25.

The project, jointly implemented by the Ho Chi Minh City Child Welfare Association (HCWA) and the Danish Vietnamese Association (DVA), was piloted in district 8 and Binh Thanh district for 12 months, with a total investment of over 2.6 billion VND (101,900 USD).

The focus of the project is to provide scholarships, urgent healthcare support, health insurance cards, and accident insurance for children with disabilities.
