Phu Tho, May 10 -- Authorities in the northern province of Phu Tho are ramping up efforts to eradicate all temporary and dilapidated houses by December 31, ensuring no residents are left in unsafe housing conditions before the start of 2026.
In early 2025, a provincial steering committee was established to oversee the initiative. Detailed plans have been issued, with clear responsibilities and quotas assigned to districts, towns and communes, alongside specific progress milestones.
