New Delhi, Aug. 7 -- During Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s state visit to India from August 4-8, the two sides have agreed to elevate their ties to a strategic partnership and signed 14 bilateral agreements aimed at boosting collaboration in key areas. The agreements signed on August 5 cover areas such as defence and security, maritime cooperation, trade, mutual legal assistance in criminal matters, science and technology, digital technology, tourism, peaceful uses of the outer space, and cultural exchange.
