Hanoi, Oct. 8 -- Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group (Petrovietnam) is implementing drastic and synchronised measures to ensure that the Long Phu 1 Thermal Power Plant project will be completed and put into operation in 2027, with Unit 1 scheduled for commissioning in the second quarter and Unit 2 in the third quarter of the year.

At a recent working session with the Long Phu 1 Petroleum Power Project Management Board, Petrovietnam Chairman Le Manh Hung reaffirmed the goal of bringing the project into operation as planned, stressing the need for determination and consistency in execution.
