Hanoi, Aug. 17 -- As the global aviation sector faces mounting pressure to decarbonise and reach net zero emissions by 2050, Petrolimex (ticker: PLX) and Petrolimex Aviation have officially unveiled sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) in Vietnam, a product said to reduce lifecycle carbon dioxide emissions by up to 80% compared to conventional jet fuel. At the recent launch in Hanoi, Petrolimex Aviation also signed SAF offtake agreements with Vietjet and Associated Energy Group, LLC (AEG Fuels).
