Hanoi, Sept. 2 -- Overseas Vietnamese communities across Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia joined their compatriots at home in celebrating the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day (September 2, 1945 - 2025), with a strong sense of pride and patriotism.

In Vientiane, Lao people and members of the Vietnamese community gathered at the Lao National Cultural Hall to watch the live broadcast of the parade from Hanoi.
