An Giang, Feb. 15 -- The first Ho Chi Minh City Open Paragliding Tournament kicked off on February 15 at Ta Pa - Soai Chek Tourist Area in Nui To commune in Tri Ton district of An Giang province.

Organised by the Tri Ton District People's Committee in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Paragliding Federation, the event marks a significant step in promoting adventure tourism and cultural exchange in the Mekong Delta region.

The tournament is part of activities celebrating the 95th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - 2025). It also serves as a platform to showcase the natural beauty, cultural richness, and hospitality of Tri Ton and An Giang to both domestic and international audiences.
