Gia Lai, Feb. 4 -- An exhibition featuring more than 2,000 archival documents, photographs and artefacts on the elections of deputies to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels opened in Gia Lai on February 3, offering the public a comprehensive look at Vietnam's electoral history and democratic traditions. Organised by the provincial Department of Home Affairs at the Historical Archives Centre, the exhibition traces major milestones from the first nationwide general election on January 6, 1946, through subsequent parliamentary elections, and links them to key moments in the country's development.
