Hanoi, June 30 -- The Vietnam People's Army has provided support to build or repair 17,027 homes for disadvantaged households across the country, contributing significantly to the Government's social security goals.

The campaign, launched in response to a directive from the Prime Minister, has seen the military mobilise more than 86,000 personnel, over 2,000 vehicles, and nearly 300,000 workdays to help families in need. The total funding allocated for construction and repairs has exceeded 895.2 billion VND (approximately 34.3 million USD).
