Hanoi, Nov. 21 -- The Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee on November 21 launched a fundraising campaign to support people affected by recent storms and floods in central and south central provinces and cities, collecting more than 112.6 billion VND (4.27 million USD) right at the launching ceremony. Of the sum, Ho Chi Minh City contributed 40 billion VND, while the Vietnam Maritime Corporation donated 12 billion VND; Hanoi with 10 billion VND; the Ministry of Public Security with 10 billion VND; and the Ministry of National Defence with 10 billion VND.
