Hanoi, Nov. 27 -- No Vietnamese citizens have so far been reported among the victims of a deadly apartment building fire in Hong Kong (China), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) confirmed during its regular press briefing on November 27. Responding to a reporter's question on whether any Vietnamese nationals were affected in the incident, which resulted in heavy casualties, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang said that immediately after receiving the information, the MoFA instructed the Consulate General of Vietnam in Hong Kong and Macau (China) to contact local authorities to verify if any Vietnamese were involved.
