Hanoi, April 24 -- To date, no Vietnamese citizens have been affected by the deadly terrorist attack in northern India, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) Pham Thu Hang confirmed at a regular press briefing on April 24 in Hanoi.
In response to a reporter's question, she said that Vietnam strongly condemns the terrorist attack on April 22 in the Baisaran valley of Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir territory, which resulted in many deaths and injuries.
"We extend our deepest condolences to the Government and people of India, as well as to the families of the victims. We believe that those responsible for this heinous act will be strictly punished," she emphasised.
