Nghe An, Nov. 18 -- The Nghe An provincial People's Committee has approved an international non-refundable aid project to help 900 poor, near-poor and vulnerable households recovering from the severe impacts of Storm No. 3, internationally known as storm Wipha.

The project, funded by Stichting Oxfam NOVIB (Oxfam NOVIB) in Vietnam, will be implemented through December 31, 2025.

Under the project, 900 households in six communes - My Ly, Muong Xen, Nhon Mai, Huu Khuong, Tuong Duong and Tri Le - will receive unconditional cash transfers of 2 million VND (75.89 USD) each, enabling families to address urgent storm-related losses and prioritise essential needs.
