Nghe An, Feb. 4 -- Leaders of Vietnam's Nghe An province and Laos's Bolikhamxay province on February 4 held talks and signed a 2026-2028 cooperation agreement, pledging to deepen bilateral ties in eight key areas.
Chairman of the Nghe An provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai said the two sides will continue to strengthen political trust, maintain regular delegation exchanges, and share experience in Party building, governance and political system building. They will also work closely on defence, security, and border management to ensure a peaceful, stable, cooperative and development-oriented borderline, creating favourable conditions for socio-economic growth.
