Hue, June 26 -- The 2025 Vietnam National Karate Championship, co-organised by the Hue Department of Culture and Sports and the Sports Authority of Vietnam, officially kicked off at the central city's Sports Centre on the morning of June 26, attracted nearly 500 athletes from 34 provinces, cities, and sectors nationwide. Competitors will battle for medals in both Kumite (sparring) and Kata (forms), across individual and team events. The competition spans various age groups and weight classes for both men and women.
