Hanoi, Nov. 20 -- As of November 10, a total of 18,589 government buildings and land sites subject to restructuring had been processed nationwide, according to the Ministry of Finance (MoF).

Of these, 1,059 facilities was allocated for healthcare purposes; 4,992 for education; 1,383 for cultural and sports activities; and 9,141 for use as offices or premises for administrative agencies and public non-business units.

A further 9,914 facilities remain under review and require continued handling, the ministry said, adding that local authorities are still updating figures in line with developments on the ground.
