Khanh Hoa, July 11 -- Officers and soldiers stationed at Da Lat (Ladd Reef), part of the Truong Sa special zone in south-central Khanh Hoa province, have successfully rescued five fishermen whose vessel ran aground approximately 1.3 nautical miles from the reef, according to the Naval Region 4 Command. On July 10 afternoon, the observation team on the reef discovered that Vessel PY 92628TS, owned and captained by Huynh Van Nhiem, a local of Phu Yen ward of Dak Lak province, was stranded and unable to rectify the situation. Upon receiving the report, the reef's commanding officer immediately mobilised personnel to coordinate with Survey Ship 883 to carry out the rescue operation.
