Hanoi, Dec. 3 -- The National Assembly Standing Committee (NASC) on December 3 gave in-principle approval to a draft ordinance amending several provisions of the Ordinance on Environmental Police, with all members present voting in favour during its 52nd session. The NASC assigned the Ministry of Public Security, as the drafting agency, to work with the Standing Board of the NA's Committee for National Defence, Security and External Relations and relevant bodies to promptly revise and finalise the draft based on the NASC's recommendations and the verification report of the NA's Committee for National Defence, Security and External Relations before submitting to the NA Chairman for promulgation.
