Hanoi, May 17 -- Myanmar will hold a forum on post-earthquake economic recovery in Naypyidaw from May 30 - 31, the Information Ministry of Myanmar announced on May 16.

Ahead the forum, a coordination meeting for the upcoming forum was held on May 15, attended by Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn and Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn, state-owned daily The Mirror reported.

Speaking at the meeting, U Maung Maung Ohn said that the forum is intended to support Myanmar's economic recovery following the earthquake. He expressed his belief that the forum would produce positive outcomes for the country.
