Hanoi, Feb. 20 -- Minister of National Defence General Phan Van Giang on February 20 highlighted the enhanced defence cooperation between Vietnam and Canada when receiving Canadian Deputy Minister of National Defence Stefanie Beck who is in Hanoi to co-chair the third Vietnam-Canada Defence Policy Dialogue.

Giang highlighted the success of the dialogue and asked Beck to convey his regards to his Canadian counterpart.

The minister expressed his delight at the progress of the comprehensive partnership between the two countries, stressing Vietnam highly values its relationship with Canada as well as the North American nation's potential and position in the region and the world at large.
