Kuala Lumpur, Oct. 6 -- The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) of Malaysia has announced that mandatory contributions for non-Malaysian employees will begin with wages for October 2025, corresponding to the contribution month of November 2025. Both employers and eligible employees will be required to contribute 2% of monthly wages. The policy applies to all non-Malaysian citizen employees in Malaysia holding a valid passport and employment pass issued by the Immigration Department of Malaysia, excluding domestic servants who play roles such as maids, cooks, gardeners, cleaners, babysitters, drivers and others.
