Kuala Lumpur, Sept. 4 -- Malaysia is committed to successfully hosting the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits next month, said a senior official.

Deputy Foreign Minister Datuk Mohamad Alamin after the debate on the 13th Malaysia Plan (13MP) in the Senate on September 3 that the presence of world leaders next month will elevate the country's profile as a respected regional diplomatic hub, while also underscoring the nation's commitment to peace, stability and prosperity at both the regional and global levels.
