Kuala Lumpur, Feb. 15 -- Malaysian police have dismantled a major international drug trafficking syndicate and seized more than three tonnes of narcotics with an estimated value exceeding 44 million USD.

Inspector-General of Police Mohd Khalid Ismail said, in a series of coordinated operations, authorities seized six containers at ports in Sabah and Selangor and arrested eight suspects. In total, police confiscated 3,043.5kg of methamphetamine, 102.5kg of ketamine, 90kg of ecstasy pills, 4kg of vape liquid suspected to contain cocaine, and 2.6kg of Erimin 5 pills.
