Kuala Lumpur, May 9 -- Malaysia has launched the MADANI Smart Water campaign which aims to safeguard the country's water resources through a comprehensive, progressive and high-impact initiative.
Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation Fadillah Yusof said that the launch is the beginning of a larger national movement aligned with various regional and global initiatives such as Singapore's 'Every Drop Counts', Europe's 'Water for Life', and the United Nations' 'Water Action Decade'.
Fadillah said that education on sustainability is no longer optional, but it is an urgent necessity. The habits adopted today will shape the future of generations to come.
