Hanoi, Oct. 2 -- Malaysia kicked off an ambitious campaign to position itself as a leading international tourism destination on October 1, with the launch of the Global Travel Meet 2025 business conference in Kuala Lumpur.

The three-day event, running through October 3, marks a pivotal moment for Malaysia's tourism sector as the country prepares for its Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign. The conference has brought together around 600 international travel representatives and 400 Malaysian exhibitors, including hotels, airlines, tour operators, and providers of diverse tourism products.
