Kuala Lumpur, May 6 -- The second consultative meeting of Young Parliamentarians of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) was held in Selengor, Malaysia, on May 6.

The event brought together parliamentarians from ASEAN member countries to work together to build a more comprehensive, sustainable and future-ready ASEAN Common Vision.

Speaking at the event, AIPA 2025 President and Dewan Rakyat (House of Representatives) Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul said that the youth is not only a core force of the future, but also shape the present. AIPA must be a platform to amplify the voice of the youth, link their aspirations to appropriate policies and ensure that no one is left behind.
