Kuala Lumpur, Sept. 29 -- Malaysia views the commercialisation of digital assets as a key driver to help raise the share of its digital economy to 30% of gross domestic product (GDP) by 2030.
Malaysia's Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo said as more countries develop digital platforms to facilitate transactions, Malaysia must seize the opportunity to grow its digital asset ecosystem.
Constructive engagement between industry players and regulators is essential to shape effective governance structures, he added.
