Bangkok, Jan. 15 -- Malaysia's Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), Electricite Du Laos (EDL) and Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), signed a tripartite Energy Wheeling Agreement Phase 2 (EWA Phase 2) under the Laos-Thailand-Malaysia-Singapore Power Integration Project Phase 2 (LTMS-PIP 2.0) on January 14. EGAT Governor Narind Paowavanich said the success of multilateral cross-border renewable power trading among the four countries under LTMS-PIP Phase 2 marks another important step in advancing the ASEAN Power Grid (APG).
