Lai Chau, Oct. 13 -- A delegation of the northern mountainous province of Lai Chau on October 12 held talks with a delegation from Laos' Oudomxay province led by Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Governor Vongsavanh Saynhavong. Chairman of the Lai Chau provincial People's Committee Le Van Luong proposed the two localities strengthen friendship exchanges, and share information and experiences in apparatus streamlining and administrative restructuring; enhance economic cooperation; and promote cultural collaboration through joint organisation of people-to-people and cultural exchange activities to showcase the unique cultural features of each side.
