Quang Ninh, Feb. 9 -- A Japanese tourist was safely evacuated and rushed to hospital after suffering a stroke aboard a cruise ship off the coast of Quang Ninh province.

According to the Border Guard Station at the Hon Gai International Port, the incident occurred at 22:45 (local time) on February 8, when the Japanese vessel ASUKA II reported that passenger Kosuge Kimiko, born in 1949, had suddenly experienced a stroke and required urgent medical assistance. The ship, carrying 617 Japanese passengers and 511 crew members, was traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to Ha Long.
