Jakarta, Feb. 27 -- Jakarta's Provincial Government is currently preparing a policy for free public transportation for 15 groups of residents in the city as part of the 100-day programme led by its Governor Pramono Anung and Deputy Governor Rano Karno.

The entitled groups include Jakarta Provincial Government civil servants and retirees, contract workers employed by the provincial government, KJP student recipients, certain private sector employees or workers earning at least the provincial minimum wage (UMP); residents holding ID cards from the Seribu Islands; rice aid recipients living in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek); as well as members of the Indonesian Military (TNI) and the National Police (Polri).
