Rome, May 19 -- Massimo Loche, an Italian war correspondent in Vietnam during the 1970s, shared his thoughts about President Ho Chi Minh - the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people and a friend of progressive peoples around the world, on the occasion of his 135th birth anniversary (May 19, 1890-2025). Having spent many years working in Hanoi since late 1972, Loche felt the Vietnamese people's sincere and profound affection toward their leader, affectionately called "Uncle" by the entire nation.
